Michella Melton practices in the areas of family law, including divorce and child custody issues, estate planning and probate. She was a registered nurse before entering the practice of law, earning a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Texas Tech University Health Science Center in 1996. She graduated from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2001. She is a member of the Collin County Bar Association, Collin County Young Lawyers Association, State Bar of Texas, Family Law Section, State Bar of Texas, Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section and the American Association of Nurse Attorneys.

Ms. Melton in active in the community, including membership in the McKinney Lion's Club and volunteering her nursing and legal skills with various non-profit organizations. She lives in McKinney, Texas with her husband and daughter.
